NORMAL, Ill. – Sixth-year senior Aidan Huggins blasted a two-run home run to bring the Illinois State baseball team to within a run, but the Redbirds dropped the series finale, 8-2, against Bradley on Sunday at Duffy Bass Field.
Huggins hit a two-run shot in the 6th inning to cut the Redbirds' (15-19 overall, 3-6 Missouri Valley Conference) deficit to 3-2 before the Braves (13-20 overall, 4-5 MVC) put the game away with a five-run 9th inning.

The Braves got the scoring going in the 1st inning with a two-run home run before a solo shot extended the lead to 3-0.
