The Flames torched ISU from the outside, making 11 3-pointers, and also drove inside at will to the tune of 44 points in the paint. About the only thing UIC didn't do was hit the 100 mark as the Flames cruised to a 94-75 victory over the Redbirds before a Credit Union 1 Arena crowd of 2,197 on Wednesday night.
Milik Yarbrough paced the Redbirds (6-4) with 30 points, tying his career high, while Josh Jefferson added 18 points and Phil Fayne 12. ISU had only seven healthy players. Starting guard Zach Copeland sat out with a knee injury while Matt Chastain (ankle) and Matt Hein (leg strain) didn't play again.
