Hot-Shooting Loyola Tops Bradley

Milton Doyle scored 35 points and Loyola shot 58 percent from the floor to earn a 78-62 victory over the Bradley men's basketball team on Saturday night. Both teams move to 2-2 in Missouri Valley Conference action with the Ramblers improving to 12-5 overall and the Braves dropping to 7-10.

Freshmen Darrell Brown and Nate Kennell led the team in scoring for the third time in four Missouri Valley Conference games, scoring 19 and 17 points, respectively. The 17 points are a career-best total for Kennell as the rookie made 5-of-8 field goals and 3-of-4 3-point attempts.
