CARBONDALE — Jayden Hodgson showed early promise this season in upping his points production for Bradley, averaging 5.9 points in his first 10 games.
His shooting percentages were off the charts for a guard — 61 from both the field and 3-point range.
In the following 16 games, though, those numbers reversed — just 31 percent from the field and 25 percent from deep, while averaging 4.1 points.
But Hodgson’s acumen on the court kept him in the starting lineup.
In Sunday’s 74-57 loss at Southern Illinois, it all came together for the 6-foot-3 sophomore as he led the Braves in scoring with 12 points, hitting a trio of 3-pointers for just the second time this season.
