Illinois State's softball team closed out play in the USF Rawlings Invitational with a pair of losses on Saturday at Tampa, Fla.
The Redbirds suffered a 3-0 defeat to Fresno State before falling to Georgia State, 10-2, to finish 1-4 in the tournament.
Mack Leonard and Brittni LaFountaine had two hits each against Fresno State. Morgan Day (1-1) took the loss, allowing three earned runs on seven hits while striking out 12.
