NORMAL, Ill. – The sixth-annual women's basketball Play 4Kay cancer awareness game returns to Redbird Arena Friday, when the women's basketball team takes on Indiana State at 7 p.m. At the event, bikers, treadmill runners, joggers and walkers, along with three sprint triathletes, will be joining the women's basketball team courtside, raising money to donate to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund to support cancer research.
At tip at Redbird Arena, treadmill, bike, and triathlete participants will begin their respective efforts to continue to raise money. Treadmill participants will each be assigned five-minute time blocks. Participants are able to honor their time commitments made to sponsors to fundraise for the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.
