PEORIA, Ill. -- Redshirt junior Haran Dunderdale (Grantham, England/Carres) has been named the Bradley COUNTRY Financial Scholar-Athlete of the Week after winning the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the 2018 Missouri Valley Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championship.
Dunderdale helped the Bradley men's track & field team to a sixth-place finish and the highest point total at the conference championship (57 points) in program history, breaking the previous mark of 55.5 points set in 1950. He opened the weekend by winning the 3,000-meter steeplechase by more than four seconds with a time of 9:05.01 to claim his second career MVC title Saturday.
