ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- For the first time this season and second time in her career junior outside hitter Hannah Thompson (Pekin, Ill./Pekin) has been named the Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Week according to an announcement by the league office Tuesday afternoon.
Thompson turned in her sixth and seventh double-doubles of the year, averaging 4.71 kills per set while hitting at .345 clip and also collected a team-best 5.29 digs per set to help Bradley sweep the series with Evansville. She also averaged 0.57 aces and 0.29 blocks per set in the victories.
