PEORIA -- Bradley will meet Hofstra, the defending champions of the Colonial Athletic Association, in the first round of the Gulf Coast Showcase Nov. 21-23 at Germain Arena in Fort Myers, Fla., according to a release from tournament officials.
The eight-team mid-major tournament guarantees three games for each team the three days preceding Thanksgiving Day. The title game is set for Nov. 23 at 7:30 p.m.
The winner of the Bradley-Hofstra game faces the winner of Vermont vs. Wofford on Nov. 22. The loser meets the loser of that game.
Other teams in the field include Kent State, South Dakota, Houston and George Mason.
