ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Following a stellar weekend in Florida, Illinois State volleyball freshman Khenedi Guest has been named the Missouri Valley Conference Freshman of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday.
Guest was the X-factor for the Redbirds, as she led them to a 2-1 finish at the Owls Paradise Classic and was named to the All-Tournament Team for her efforts. She finished the weekend with 37 kills on a .500 clip.
Against Stetson, Guest earned a career high of 14 kills on 20 swings, hitting .550. Over the weekend, Guest recorded 11 total blocks and compiled 3.
