PEORIA — Glen McCullough was a small man in stature. But he was a giant on the Peoria sporting scene for decades, making sure events from Peoria Pacers baseball to the IHSA basketball tournament to Bradley basketball to the Missouri Valley Conference tournament ran smoothly.
McCullough died at his Peoria home Wednesday morning at the age of 93. While he achieved a long, prosperous career at Caterpillar in sales engineering and marketing, it was Glen’s volunteerism with which he cemented his legacy.
“He had such a great life and so many wonderful friends,” said his daughter, Laura Heiden.
