The Braves and Panthers met for the second time this season at the McLeod Center in Cedar Falls on Saturday afternoon.
The Braves came out ready to face the second place Panthers, who defeated Bradley 83-64 in Peoria. UNI was facing a Bradley team who has made improvement throughout the season, and the Braves were only down by six going into halftime. Two quick threes from the Panthers to start the third quarter caused the Braves to call a timeout, but they would spend the rest of the game fighting from behind. A strong second half from UNI gave them a 76-50 win over Bradley.
