EVANSVILLE, Ind. — This season has been a roller coaster of emotions for the Evansville basketball team, which hosts Bradley at the Ford Center on Wednesday at 6 p.m.

It began in game No. 2 with a nationally shocking victory Nov. 12 over then No. 1-ranked Kentucky at Rupp Arena. It marked the first time a Missouri Valley Conference team had ever beaten a top-ranked team on its home court.

A three-game losing streak followed, plummeting the Purple Aces back to earth quickly.

Then, just as Evansville regained its momentum on the court, winning six of seven, an equally stunning circumstance arose.
