TERRE HAUTE, IN – Bradley senior guard Chloe Rice scored a career-best 11 points and matched her career-high with five rebounds, but a 16-0 Indiana State run late in the first quarter proved to be the difference as the host Sycamores (7-7, 2-1 MVC) earned a 73-57 win against the visiting Braves (3-9, 0-3 MVC) Sunday afternoon at Hulman Center.
Bradley pulled into an 8-8 tie when Daija Powell converted a post-up with 6:09 left in the first quarter, but the Braves did not score again until Tatum Koenig buried a corner 3-pointer with 21 seconds left in the period.
