PEORIA – This felt for all the world like the night Bradley was going to turn it around.
Before a crowd of under 2,000 at Carver Arena (paid 5,009) on a snowy Saturday night, the Braves were shooting the ball better than they had since November, sinking a season-high 10 3-pointers. They built a 14-point lead early in the second half and Missouri State was a thin team facing deep foul trouble.
In the game’s last minute, though, it all blew up in the Braves’ faces.
Bradley was leading 64-60 at 1:48 after two Elijah Childs free throws.
