PEORIA — Jim Molinari would have loved Bradley’s 91-52 exhibition game victory Tuesday over Division III Millikin at Carver Arena.
In holding the Big Blue to 31 percent field-goal shooting and helping force 19 turnovers, the Braves exhibited the type of tenacious man-to-man defense that Molinari — one of five BU 2020 Hall of Fame inductees announced Tuesday — became known for during his 11-year run as BU head coach from 1991-2002.
“I liked how we started the game by diving on the floor and making them work to score,” said BU coach Brian Wardle. “That type of defensive effort early was good and set the tone.
