NORMAL — Former Normal Community High School star Machayla Leonard, who spent the past two seasons at the University of Toledo, has joined the Illinois State volleyball team, ISU coach Melissa Myers announced Thursday.
Leonard, a 6-foot outside hitter, has enrolled in classes at ISU and will begin training with the team immediately. She will be eligible for the 2017 season as a redshirt sophomore with three years of eligibility remaining.
