Former Bradley standout Walt Lemon Jr. is joining the New Orleans Pelicans’ roster of the MGM Resorts NBA Summer League in Las Vegas. League action begins on Friday with the Pelicans playing the Toronto Raptors.
A two-time second-team All-Missouri Valley Conference selection during his career, Lemon played for the Braves from 2010-2014. He ranks in the top 10 in three different categories in Bradley basketball history, placing seventh with 1,721 career points, 10th with 367 assists and third with 222 steals.
Lemon made his NBA debut during the 2017-18 campaign, appearing in five games with the Pelicans.
