ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- Senior Ethan Brue (Chandlerville, Ill./AC Central/Illinois Central) has been named Missouri Valley Conference Golfer of the Week according to an announcement by the league office, sharing the honor with Northern Iowa's Sam DeBartolo.
Brue opened the 2017-18 season just like he began the 2016-17; by claiming medalist honors at the Crusader Collegiate played at the par-72 Sand Creek Country Club in Chesterton, Ind. The defending Crusader Collegiate medalist, Brue defended his crown with a win in the 2017 event as he edged Loyola's Orion Yamat by two strokes for top individual honors.
