PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley University women's basketball athlete Ellie McDermid has been named this week's Busey Bank Scholar-Athlete of the Week, announced Tuesday. McDermid was honored after recording her first career double-double on Nov. 12 against Lindenwood and winning Missouri Valley Conference Freshman of the Week.
The freshman from Green Bay, Wisconsin tallied her first career double-double in her second career collegiate game, tallying 13 points and 11 rebounds at Lindenwood on Nov. 12.
