PEORIA — As satisfying as this championship season was for Bradley basketball, Elijah Childs can’t wait for his senior year in 2020-21.
“People don’t know who we have coming in next year,” said the team’s top rebounder and second-leading scorer. “People thought our team was scary this year. Next year? That’s why I’m so ready to get back to work. It’s going to be something special.”
Start with depth. The Braves played most of this season with nine scholarship players, although that group missed a total of 20 games because of injury or other reasons.
