SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Sophomore Haran Dunderdale (Grantham, England/Carres) won the men’s 3,000 meter steeplechase at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival to help highlight Friday’s action for the Bradley men’s and women’s track & field teams.
Dunderdale posted a career-best time of 8:55.68 to improve his personal best by 16 seconds and challenged the meet record of 8:54.12 set in 2014 at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival Friday afternoon. In addition to Dunderdale’s performance, the Braves turned in numerous career-best efforts Friday at San Francisco State along with the Stanford Invitational and the Eastern Illinois Big Blue Classic.
