NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State men's tennis team wrapped up Summit League play Saturday, when the Redbirds hosted No. 45/46 ranked Denver. The Pioneers proved why they are one of the better teams in the country, sweeping the Redbirds, 7-0, Saturday afternoon at the Gregory Street Courts.
"We had a tough day today," ISU head coach Mark Klysner. "I don't think we played our best, but at the same time we didn't play poorly. We just came up short against a better team today and they showed why they are nationally ranked."
