After leading the Bradley men's basketball team to a pair of victories last week, junior Darrell Brown has collected Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Week accolades, announced on Monday.
In wins over Northern Iowa and Indiana State, Brown averaged 27.5 points – shooting 60.6 percent from the field and 73.3 percent from 3-point range (11-of-15).
Brown tallied a game-high 29 points in Wednesday's victory versus the Panthers, making 11-of-18 shots and 5-of-6 beyond the arc to lead BU to its first win in Cedar Falls since 2008. He then scored 19 of his 26 points in the first half versus the Sycamores, leading Bradley to its largest Valley win in 13 years.
