Cross Country Finishes 24th in NCAA Championship Debut

Madison, Wis. – The Bradley men's cross country team made its debut on the national stage as the 25th-ranked team in the latest USTFCCCA poll finished higher than its rank with a 24th-place performances on Saturday at the NCAA Championship.

The Braves scored 580 points, finishing just three points behind Villanova but placing ahead of a number of perennial powers, including No. 11 Syracuse, No. 17 Arkansas, No. 22 Purdue, No. 26 Iona, No. 28 Tulsa, Florida State and Texas.

"We came in 25th and finished 24th," said Bradley head coach Darren Gauson.
