PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley University men's golfer Connor Hamm has been named this week's Busey Bank Scholar-Athlete of the Week, announced Thursday. Hamm was honored after winning the first outright individual championship by a Bradley men's golfer since 2018.
At SIUE's Dolenc Invitational, Hamm set multiple school records. On Monday, Sept. 9, Hamm set a new 18-hole score record, shooting a seven-under-par 64, breaking the old mark of 65. Across the tournament, Hamm shot a 13-under-par 200, setting a new record in 54-hole score by five strokes.
The Bradley Men's Golf team began the season strong, finishing tied for third place at the Dolenc Invitational while setting a new program record for 54-hole team score, shooting 846 and shattering the old record by 12 strokes.
