NORMAL – As a kickoff to the 2024-25 season and a thank you to its loyal fans, Illinois State Athletics is excited to host its annual Community Movie Night on Friday, August 9, at Hancock Stadium.
Presented by the Bloomington-Normal YMCA, this year's event features a FREE screening of the iconic sports comedy Space Jam (1996) featuring basketball legend Michael Jordan. The movie will be shown on the video board at Hancock Stadium with doors opening at 6 p.m. for a 6:30 p.m. start.
Jordan stars alongside Looney Tunes icon Bugs Bunny and friends in the live-action/animated adventure that grossed over $250 million worldwide, holding the title of the highest-grossing basketball film of all time for over two decades.
