Unfortunately for the Titans, UMass Dartmouth answered with seven in the bottom half of the frame to defeat IWU, 13-12, in a slugfest on Monday at Osceola, Fla.
Evan Daly, the seventh pitcher used by IWU, took the loss in a game that saw UMass Dartmouth commit eight errors and IWU six.
The teams were tied at 5-5 through six innings, before UMass plated a run in the seventh. The Titans answered in the eighth and the game went into extra innings after a scoreless ninth.
