The Illinois State soccer team grabbed a 3-1 Missouri Valley Conference win over Evansville in the Redbirds' final regular season road match on Sunday.
ISU's victory was its third in a row and leaves the Redbirds at 9-7-2 overall and 4-2-0 in the Valley. Evansville fell to 4-10-2, 2-3-1.
Sophomore Natalie Vaughn-Low scored a goal to get ISU on the board in the 15th minute of the first half with an assist from Kate Del Fava.
After being held without a shot on goal in the first half, Evansville was able to tie the game 18 minutes into the second period before ISU's Abby Basler put the Redbirds back on top with a goal with 18 minutes remaining in the game.
