Kaylee Martin once again led ISU with 16 kills. Emmy Ogogor, Sarah Kushner and Sydney Holt added 10 kills each for the Redbirds, who fell to 13-9 overall with the loss and 6-4 in the Missouri Valley Conference. Holt was also credited with nine blocks.
ISU also received 30 assists from Allie Otten and 21 digs from Kaity Weimerskirch. The Redbirds return to host Bradley at 6 p.m. on Friday.
Women's soccer wins: The IWU women's soccer team notched its fifth consecutive victory and ninth in the past 10 matches with a 4-1 decision over Carroll at Waukesha, Wis.
