Illinois State volleyball star Courtney Pence has received honorable mention on the Division I American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-America team for the second straight year.
The senior libero is the first ISU player to receive repeat All-America honors. She also was an honorable mention choice last year.
Previous Redbird volleyball All-Americans include Julie (Mueller) Paska (second team, 1984), Jolene (Jordan) Hoover (Honorable Mention, 1985), Kaitlyn Early (Honorable Mention, 2014), Jaelyn Keene (Honorable Mention, 2014) and Emily Orrick (Honorable Mention, 2014).
Pence was the Missouri Valley Conference Libero of the Year after breaking the Valley all-time digs record.
