Senior guard Zach Copeland scored 19 points while junior forward Keith Fisher III added 16 as Illinois State's basketball team downed BC Silute, 73-64, in Florence, Italy on Tuesday.
Sophomore guard Dedric Boyd scored nine points as the Redbirds won their second straight game on their exhibition tour in Italy. ISU will have its third and final game on Thursday in Treviso before flying home Saturday.
ISU got off to a quick start against BC Silute, a team from Lithuania, as the Redbirds took a 27-13 lead after the first quarter. ISU coach Dan Muller started Fisher, Boyd, freshman guard DJ Horne, redshirt freshman forward Abdou Ndiaye and senior guard Jaycee Hillsman.
