Becca Black shot a 1-under 71 Tuesday as Illinois State's women's golf team moved up one spot after the second round of the Rainbow Wahine Invitational at Kapolei, Hawaii.
Black improved to 4-over par for the tournament and was tied for 27th place heading into Wednesday's final 18 holes. Freshman Ali Schrock, who shot 72 on Monday, carded a 75 and was tied for 21st at 3-over for the tournament.
ISU shot 304 and inched up to 10th in the 14-team field at 610. Cal Poly was in first at 575.
