Illinois Wesleyan's No. 19 nationally ranked volleyball team opened College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin play Wednesday night with a straight-sets victory over North Central at Shirk Center.
Tyler Brown had nine kills, 18 digs and two blocks in IWU's 25-12, 25-21, 25-15 victory. Rachel Burkman also had nine kills to go with two blocks for the Titans (7-4, 1-0), who hit .260 to North Central's .075.
Maddie Williams added seven kills and two blocks, Kyleigh Block had four kills and 13 digs and Kira Jackson had a team-high 23 assists in the Titans' fifth straight win.
