Illinois State's Ashley Rosch and Illinois Wesleyan's Jill Harmon have been nominated for the NCAA’s Woman of the Year Award, the NCAA announced Tuesday with the release of the names of a record 517 student-athletes vying for the award at three levels.
Rosch, a volleyball standout who concluded her collegiate career last fall, was among 231 nominees at the Division I level.
The NCAA Woman of the Year award honors graduating female student-athletes who have distinguished themselves throughout their collegiate careers in the areas of academic achievement, athletics excellence, service and leadership.
Rosch was the first four-time All-Missouri Valley Conference First-Team selection in ISU history.
