Led by eighth-place finisher Joel Durnford, the Illinois State men's golf team took fourth place Tuesday in the 15-team Missouri Tiger Invitational at Columbia, Mo.
The Redbirds shot a season-tournament best of 18-under-par 846. TCU was first (824), followed by Kansas State (831), Missouri (845) and ISU.
Durnford shot 71 in Tuesday's final round to end at 8-under 208. David Perkins tied for 11th at 71-210, Trent Wallace tied for 26th with 70-213 and Dan Anfield tied for 31st at 74-215. The individual champion was Stefano Mazzoli of TCU at 66-199.
Cameron resigns as swim coach: ISU head swimming coach Scott Cameron has resigned after four seasons to pursue other career opportunities, ISU Director of Athletics Larry Lyons announced Tuesday.
