Red-hot bats and the wind blowing out once again led to an Illinois Wesleyan offensive onslaught as the Titans claimed a 16-0 rout of Carroll College on Sunday at Waukesha, Wis.
IWU outscored Carroll 69-20 in sweeping the three-game College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin series that improved the Titans' record to 13-7 overall and 6-1 in the CCIW.
Senior catcher Pat Mollo was 4-for-4 on Sunday with three home runs and five runs batted in. Gino Cavalieri led off the game with a home run and had three RBIs. Jarrod Juskiewicz belted a first inning homer and had four RBIs.
