Illinois State's Jaylan McConico, Kentre Patterson and Derrius Rodgers have qualified for the NCAA Men’s Indoor Track & Field Championships.
McConico and Patterson punched their tickets to the March 9-10 national meet at College Station, Texas during the 60-meter hurdles final at last weekend’s Missouri Valley Championships.
McConico won in 7.64 seconds, setting an ISU and MVC record. The time ranks third nationally. Patterson was runner-up in an NCAA-qualifying 7.75 seconds and is seeded 12th in the nation.
Rodgers qualified in the 60-meter dash for the second straight year with a time of 6.60 seconds in the MVC preliminary round.
