Illinois Wesleyan senior Amelia Glueck finished second in the long jump at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships at the Birmingham (Ala.) CrossPlex on Friday.
Glueck, a Tremont High School graduate, went 18 feet, 11¾ inches as Wadeline Jonathas of Massachusetts-Boston took first with a 19-6 effort. In her long jumping career at national indoor championships, Glueck has finished second (2015 and 2018), fourth (2017) and fifth (2016).
Glueck also was the recipient of the Elite 90 award during a banquet Thursday. The health promotion and wellness management major carries a 4.0 grade-point average.
