Illinois State's 1,600-meter relay team clocked a school record 3 minutes, 11.59 seconds to place third in Saturday's Meyo Invitational, hosted by Notre Dame.
Handling the baton were Anderson Devonish, Derrius Rodgers, Brandon Gage and Ben Montgomery. The broke the 1980 mark of 3:13.04.
In the 60 high hurdles, Kentre Patterson took second in 7.95, which ranks second in ISU history. Kelsie Prear moved to 10th in ISU history in the 60, placing third in 7.58. Teammate Hattie Plumb moved to ninth in school history in the 800 at 2:12.32. Also moving to ninth in ISU annals was Grace Beattie, who sped 4:53.
