Illinois State volleyball standout Ali Line has been named to the Google Cloud Academic All-America First Team by the the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
Line, a senior, is the third Academic All-American in program history and the second to earn first-team honors.
A two-time Missouri Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete First Team member, Line has a perfect 4.0 cumulative grade-point average as a nursing major and is a Robert G. Bone Scholar.
She had a team-best 304 kills this season, averaging 2.64 kills per set on .325 hitting, which ranked third in the MVC.
Goods, Maggett net MVC awards: Senior Simone Goods was named Missouri Valley Player of the Week and junior TeTe Maggett was tabbed the Newcomer of the Week after helping Illinois State to basketball victories over Austin Peay and Northern Kentucky.
