The Illinois State volleyball team notched its eighth straight victory with a 25-14, 18-25, 25-16, 26-28, 15-5 Missouri Valley Conference decision over Evansville on Saturday at Evansville, Ind.
The Redbirds improved to 20-5 overall and 11-1 in the MVC while Evansville fell to 8-18 and 2-11.
Ali Line led ISU with 19 kills while Kaylee Martin added 16. Monica Miller and Marissa Stockman chipped in 10 kills apiece as the Redbirds outhit their host, .391 to .253.
Stef Jankiewicz handed out 54 assists for ISU and Courtney Pence provided 17 digs. Alondra Vazquez had 20 kills for the Aces.
