Illinois State's men's golf team was in second place Monday in the Little Rock Invitational when play was suspended late in the second round at Chenal Country Club in Little Rock, Ark.
ISU was one stroke behind No. 23-ranked UNLV when play was suspended by darkness. The second round will be completed Tuesday morning, followed by the final 18 holes.
The Redbirds shot a 2-over par 290 in the first round and were at even par when play was stopped.
Redbird senior Trent Wallace led the tournament at 4-under par and had one hole to play in the second round.
