The Illinois State women's soccer team scored two first-half goals and made them stand up for a 2-1 Missouri Valley Conference victory over Loyola on Wednesday in Chicago.
Kelli Zickert pulled the Redbirds (8-5-2, 2-0-1 in the MVC) into a 1-1 tie with a goal off an Emily Dickman assist. Lauren Koehl then assisted on a Brianne Richards goal that gave ISU the lead.
