NORMAL, Ill. – With temperatures below freezing, Illinois State's single game against Southern Illinois today has been cancelled.
Due to Missouri Valley Conference softball protocol, the wind chill temperature must be a minimum 35 degrees at game time, causing today's cancellation of the Redbirds' contest versus the Salukis.

Illinois State will take on in-state rival Illinois in Champaign on Wednesday, before returning to Marian Kneer Stadium for an eight-game home stretch.
