TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Senior Chase Coffey (Hanna City, Ill./Farmington) broke the school record to finish second in the men’s steeplechase and fellow senior Eric Delvo (Springfield, Ill./Sacred Heart Griffin) was third in the event with a season-best time to highlight Saturday’s action for the Bradley men’s and women’s track & field teams at the 2016 Missouri Valley Conference Outdoor Championship.
Coffey broke Delvo’s school mark of 8:50.43 set at the 2014 NCAA West Prelim by three one-hundredths of a second, crossing the line at 8:50.40 to finish second in the field.
