ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- For the seventh time this season Bradley Women's Basketball boasts the Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Week, but this time the award went to a first-time recipient with senior Chelsea Brackmann garnering the latest honor for the Braves according to an announcement by the league office Monday afternoon.
Brackmann, who was named MVC Player of the Week for the first time in her career, averaged 22.0 points and 10.0 rebounds per game, while shooting 75 percent from the field in a pair of home victories that kept Bradley alone in second in the MVC standings.
