LEROY – The El Paso-Gridley High School basketball team won 25 games last season with a young team.
Hopes for an even better 2024-25 took a major hit when 6-foot-9 standout Jonah Funk transferred to Metamora.
Yet the Titans have regrouped, reorganized and are on their way to another excellent campaign. EPG improved to 11-3 with a 64-46 Heart of Illinois Conference victory over LeRoy on Tuesday at Dud Berry Gymnasium.
