PEORIA, Ill. – Senior runner Charlie Parrish (Freeburg, Ill./Freeburg) has been named this week's Bradley Busey Bank Scholar-Athlete of the Week announced Wednesday after helping Bradley Men's Cross Country to a second-place finish at last week's Missouri Valley Conference Championship.
Parrish captured all-conference honors for the second straight season, finishing seventh overall in a time of 24:51.2 at Friday's MVC Cross Country Championship in Normal, Ill. In addition to the All-MVC honors, Parrish was named the Valley's Elite 17 Award winner after garnering that same award at the 2021 MVC Outdoor Track & Field Championship.
