AUSTIN, Texas – Senior thrower Logan Calvin launched the second-farthest shot put throw in school history as the Illinois State track & field program wrapped up competition at the Texas Relays, Raleigh Relays and Bobcat Invitational on Saturday evening.
Competing at the Texas Relays, Calvin threw the shot put 19.54m (64-1.25 ft.) to finish fourth in event, as he inches closer to the school record. Calvin's mark also ranks No. 3 in the NCAA and West Region.
